What’s Wonder Festival?
Wonder Festival is one of the world’s largest festivals
dedicated to figure modeling and sculpture, celebrating its
40th anniversary in 2025.

Since relocating its venue to Makuhari Messe in the summer of 2009, the event has grown into a major festival that welcomes approximately 2,000 exhibitors and more than 30,000 attendees each year, attracting significant interest not only from fans in Japan but also from enthusiasts around the world.
Open to both professional and amateur creators, Wonder Festival is an event where participants bring and showcase their meticulously crafted garage kits for exhibition and sale. The venue features one-of-a-kind sculptural works, newly released creations from individual dealers, and various limited-edition items. In addition, a wide range of stage events, hands-on experience areas where visitors can enjoy painting and assembly on site, and cosplay performances by cosplayers further enhance the festival’s unique appeal.
Furthermore, Wonder Festival has continued to expand its presence overseas, with international editions including “Wonder Festival 2025 [Shanghai]” (China), “Wonder Festival 2025 [South Korea]” (South Korea), and “Wonder Festival 2024 [Bangkok]” (Thailand). On October 28, it was officially announced that “Wonder Festival at MomoCon” will be held in May 2026 in the state of Georgia, USA.
